Common Questions Landlords Often Ask
Even the most experienced people with houses for rent can
have questions. Individuals looking to rent and those with
land for sale in Laos can also have many, varied questions.
What follows is a set of questions that are amongst the most
common:
1. If WeGoFa manages my property and collects rent for
me, what charges do you make?
In most circumstances, when we manage a property for you
we charge a management fee of 12% of the rental income.
2. If WeGoFa sells land or a house for me, how much is the
fee I will get charged?
Individuals with land for sale in Laos can expect to pay a
sales fee of 3% of the total sales price. This fee is exclusive
of government taxes and the fees for a rights transfer.
3. When land or a house is sold are there any taxes to pay?
Land taxes are due when land or property changes hands.
The amount of tax depends on the geographical area and the
designation of the land. Generally, each transaction will
attract a sales tax of approximately 6%. Call us on +856 20 2389 9999 or email on sale@wegofa.com for further details.
4. How much is the rental tax?
Rental tax is normally 15% of the total rental value.
Additionally, land valuation is charged according to the area
and the designation of the land. Under certain conditions,
the 15% tax obligation can be waived.
5. Does WeGoFa make an initial charge when instructed
to sell land or property?
WeGoFa does not make any charges for its services selling
property or land until the property is finally sold. The same
applies to property that we rent for clients as well.
