Real Estate Investment and Development in Laos The business began in agency and brokerage, handling property sales transactions with a combined value of more than US$10 million between 2009 and 2012. In 2010, Sunlai launched realestateinlaos.com, creating an online presence for the property business. Direct property investment followed in 2012 while brokerage services continued. From 2014, the focus expanded to larger land subdivision and development projects in Vientiane Capital, followed by projects in Xieng Khouang province and Pakse district in Champasak province. Today, land investment continues across Laos alongside the development of homes for sale. Experience as a broker, investor and developer provides a practical perspective on property opportunities, from the initial transaction through to development. Property Valuation and Advisory for International Clients Property valuation is a second key area of Sunlai’s work. In 2015, Sunlai began studying valuation and helping clients assess property and business investments, primarily for international clients. These services complement the investment and development business, bringing together valuation work and firsthand experience of property transactions in Laos. Farmhouse Development and Luxury Homes In 2021, during the COVID period, the business began developing farmhouses as weekend homes for middle-class buyers. Pond and riverfront settings were part of this offering, which became popular with buyers looking for weekend homes. In 2023, the business expanded into luxury housebuilding through Anata Luxury. Residential work now includes high-end home construction and interior decoration for condominiums and apartments, alongside homes developed for sale.
