WEGOFA Privacy Policy
Body
Effective date: 2026-11-01 1 Who handles your information WeGoFa Real Estate Sole Co., Ltd, trading as WEGOFA, operates this website and handles enquiries about company-owned properties and selected properties owned by others. This policy explains how we handle personal information through the website and related communications. Contact us at sale@wegofa.com, +856 20 2389 9999, or Ban Nalom Village, Xaythany District, Vientiane Capital, Laos, postal code 01170. 2 Information you submit and backend storage We collect information you submit through our forms and store submission records in the backend of our system so our team can review and respond to them. Property and contact enquiries include your name, email, message and, where provided, telephone number or contact preference. Property requirements may also include preferred location, budget, property type, size and room requirements. The USDT enquiry form includes information about the requested direction and amount range. It records an enquiry; it does not itself execute a transaction. Owner property submissions include contact information, property specifications, price, location, optional coordinates or map and video links, and photographs you upload. The form can accept up to 20 photographs. Submit only information and material you are entitled to share. Avoid unnecessary identity documents, financial information and details about occupants or other people. Submission records can also contain timestamps, processing status, staff notes, notification status and a snapshot of the property associated with an enquiry. Owner photographs are stored as application files; they are not attached to enquiry notification emails. 3 Private submissions and public property advertising Submitting a property stores it for private review. It does not automatically publish every field or file. Property advertising details and selected photographs may be published on the WEGOFA website only through a separate authorised staff publication step. The owner-submission permission describes the material authorised for advertising. Publication makes that material visible to website visitors, who may save or share it. Public advertising may include the reviewed property title and description, sale or rental purpose, type, province, district and village, price and currency, room counts and areas, precise property coordinates, video link, selected photographs and their captions or descriptions, and related listing presentation information. Precise property coordinates may also be sent to the map provider as explained below. Published photographs may be resized or cropped; original photograph metadata is not included in the public renditions. Owner names, telephone numbers, email and WhatsApp details, submitted Google Maps links, internal staff notes and original image metadata are not included in the designated public listing fields. This separation is not a guarantee that submitted text or photographs contain no personal information. Free text and visible image content are not automatically redacted. Check material before submitting it. Selected advertising must be reviewed before publication for faces, documents, contact details and other private information. Do not include personal information unless it is appropriate for the advertised listing and you have authority for that public use. 4 Accounts and security records For account registration and authorised staff access, the system processes email addresses, account status and roles, protected credential and verification records, sessions and security-related records. Authentication messages are sent using an email service. We use this information to administer access and help prevent or investigate misuse. Registration is not automatic approval for staff access. 5 Cookies and browser storage The website uses authentication cookies for sign-in and verification. Authenticated sessions have a maximum duration of eight hours with a 30-minute inactivity timeout; temporary verification steps expire sooner. Session expiry does not mean all related server records are deleted. Your browser's local storage keeps language and currency preferences and identifiers for saved and compared properties. The application does not set an automatic expiry for those local-storage entries. You can remove them using your browser's website-data controls; doing so may reset preferences or saved selections. Browser controls can also restrict cookies, which may affect sign-in. Services that deliver the website and its embedded content receive the network information needed to respond to a request, including an IP address. The application also keeps account, session and security records as described above. Additional infrastructure logging and retention practices have not yet been fully verified. 6 Maps and external services Property pages automatically load an OpenStreetMap embedded map. Loading it sends a request to the map service, including network information such as your IP address and the displayed property's coordinates. These are the property coordinates used to show the map, not a statement that your device location is being sent. The map provider's privacy notice explains its handling of those requests. Google directions, WhatsApp and external video links open when selected. Other contact links or QR codes may lead to messaging services. Those providers receive information through your use of their services, which may include the selected destination or information you send. Review their privacy notices before sharing information. If you choose the distance feature and give browser permission, the website requests your location once and uses it in the current page memory to calculate approximate straight-line distances to saved property pins. This feature does not send your coordinates to WEGOFA, store them persistently or continuously track your location. You can decline location access and still view property listings, and you can change permission through your browser. Your browser, device or operating-system location provider may separately process information to determine your location under its own settings and privacy terms. 7 How information is used We use information relevant to your request to respond to enquiries, arrange requested follow-up or viewings, assess property submissions and prepare authorised property advertising. We use account and technical information to administer authorised access, operate the website and address misuse. Submission status and staff notes help our team manage follow-up. Information may also be needed to meet applicable legal obligations or address a dispute. Where consent is required, we will request it for the relevant purpose. An enquiry is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing. 8 Who receives information WEGOFA personnel use submission information to review and handle requests. Form notifications are sent to sale@wegofa.com using Microsoft Graph, with copies saved in Sent Items. A client's email address may be included as the reply-to address. This means relevant enquiry information also exists in email records, not only in the website database. Hosting, database, file-storage and authentication or email services process information as needed to provide those services. For a property owned by someone else, WEGOFA may share your phone number or email address privately with the relevant property owner where needed to arrange a viewing or handle your requested property transaction, including responding to a relevant request from that owner. The sharing decision and disclosure are handled by WEGOFA through authorised personnel. This sharing is not publication of your contact details in the property advertisement and does not authorise sharing them with unrelated recipients or for unrelated marketing. Relevant information may also be disclosed where legally required or permitted, for example in responding to a valid official request or handling a legal claim. 9 Storage locations and retention WEGOFA is based in Laos. Information is handled in our website backend and the email and other service systems described in this policy. We have not yet confirmed all countries in which those providers store or process information, including backups. We keep submitted enquiries, messages and contact details in our backend alongside property records. The website does not apply a single automatic deletion period to all accepted submission and property records. You may request correction or deletion as described below; keeping a record in the backend does not remove rights or requirements under applicable law. Property records are kept when a property is marked sold or rented. Removing a public listing, moving a property to trash or deleting a record from an active view does not necessarily remove all related information. Enquiry snapshots, original photographs, email records, audit records or backups may remain. Contact us about a deletion request so it can be assessed across the relevant records and applicable requirements. We do not promise that every copy disappears immediately. 10 Security and your requests The application includes account-access and authentication controls. No online service can guarantee complete security. If you believe an account or message has been compromised, contact us using the details above. Contact us to ask about information held about you, request a correction or deletion, withdraw consent where processing depends on it, or raise a privacy concern. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. Applicable law and necessary record-keeping obligations may affect the response. This policy does not restrict rights available under applicable law. 11 Policy updates We will show the effective date when this policy is updated. Where a change requires a new notice or consent, we will provide or request it as required. Updating this policy does not itself authorise a new use of personal information.
